Please lift Benjamin Pennington up in prayer for healing. He is one of the soldiers who was hurt when Kuwait was bombed early in the Iran war and has family here in Clay County. He has a serious head injury. Please also remember other soldiers who have been hurt and the families of those who gave their lives. Update 3/7: Benjamin passed away today to the injuries he sustained. Please lift his family up in prayer for comfort in this time.

I want to add Jett West, Kylee and Tyrus little boy, to the prayer list. He’s had several problems and will be going to Vanderbilt Tuesday for some tests, then Wednesday to see a GI specialist. They are also dealing some other things which are unspoken prayer requests. Thank you so much Update 11/21: Jett has been diagnosed with infant dyschezia, which is fixable. Please pray for Todd Upton. He’s been going back for some follow tests, he got a little bad news. The cancer has come back a little. The doctors said they have a game plan. He’s going to start in a couple weeks with a new IV or infusion type of treatment. It isn’t chemotherapy, so hopefully not as harsh. He sounded good and in good spirits. Let’s have everyone come together in prayer for Todd and Kim. There will be some traveling.

Our Sunday School Class has been praying for our friend's son who needs a liver transplant. His name is Randall and he is 13 years old. They live in Jacksonville, FL where our second home is. Randall and his mother have had to live in Miami for months now away from the rest of their family so they can be near the facility where his team of doctors is and where the transplant will take place. They got the long awaited call this morning that they have a liver for him. It has to be a perfect match because of his condition. He is scheduled for surgery around 5pm today. Please pray for this young man, his parents Aaron and Brittani, the rest of the family and the doctors taking care of him. This family has been so faithful through it all and they always give God the glory and are trusting in God's timing and His perfect will.🙏🙏🙏 Update 9/24: The surgery was a success and he is doing well. He will have to have a bone marrow transplant in about 90 days. Please continue to pray for his recovery. UPDATE 1/13/26: Randall has had some rough times and is still awaiting a bone marrow transplant. Please continue to keep him in prayer.

Please pray for a little girl named Selma Davis. She is five years old now. I have prayed for her since before she was born and have added her to the prayer requests many times. They found out before she was born that she had heart defects. She has undergone many surgeries in her five years of life and her heart is failing her now. I asked her mom what specifically we could pray for and this was her reply…. “Pray that she can come off of the IV’s and onto oral meds. Pray that her heart function is full restored “❤️ Update: Selma is still in the hospital and feeling some better. However staff do not hold much hope that her heart is improving. They have done another echo. Please pray for a miracle that she is better. Update 9/20: Selma is continuing meds, but not doing well and will be admitted to hospital on Monday to get meds IV and will be placed on the transplant list. Please continue to pray for her.

Please pray for Gary Ballard. He’s in the hospital now and has fluid buildup around his heart and a large spot is on his lungs.. Update:8/13: Gary is back at work, but still has a lot of health issues and is not out of woods yet. UPDATE 1/13/2026: Gary had to be taken to hospital from work a few days ago. He went into cardiac arrest and was resuscitated and placed on life support. His family was not given much hope, but he is now off life support and improving- a miracle. Please keep him in prayer.

Please lift Mitchell Boles up in prayer for healing. He is a 16 year old in our community who was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. Please also lift his family up in prayer for comfort and wisdom for decisions.

Update 6/15: Evan had decided to return to hospital and try treatment again. He is now in remission! Answered prayers! Please pray for a friend of ours. Her name is Joyce McClain. She has been diagnosed with CLL, a type of leukemia. Please pray for her healing and comfort in this time.

Please pray for healing for Kristin Robinson. She became ill suddenly and had emergency surgery. They found cancer which had spread all into colon and uterus, and she started bleeding so badly, surgery had to be stopped. She is 31 and has 3 children. Please pray for her family, too. Update 3/4/25: Kristin is doing treatments and is still very sick. Has lost a lot of weight. May have surgery for the tumor if it shrinks with treatments. Please continue to pray for this young family. Update 8/1/25: Kristin continues to be very sick. Please keep her in prayer.

Amanda is a 16 year old recently diagnosed with a rare type of leukemia… she’s receiving treatment in Atlanta… Update 11/24/25: Amanda is in the hospital and will probably be there through December. She will be having a bone marrow transplant in December. Please continue to pray for her. Update 7/21/2025: Amanda had been in remission, but her cancer recurred and she is once again taking treatments. Please lift her up in prayer. Update 10/21: Amanda’s Leukemia has returned. She has a tumor externally and internally in the brain. They haven’t biopsied it yet but are pretty sure it’s malignant. She will be hospitalized Friday for Chemo and another bone marrow transplant. If this doesn’t work they are out of options. Please pray for her and her family. UPDATE 1/13/26: Amanda just had second stem cell procedure, a last shot. Please keep her in prayer for a miracle - a cure. Thank you
