Our Sunday School Class has been praying for our friend's son who needs a liver transplant. His name is Randall and he is 13 years old. They live in Jacksonville, FL where our second home is. Randall and his mother have had to live in Miami for months now away from the rest of their family so they can be near the facility where his team of doctors is and where the transplant will take place. They got the long awaited call this morning that they have a liver for him. It has to be a perfect match because of his condition. He is scheduled for surgery around 5pm today. Please pray for this young man, his parents Aaron and Brittani, the rest of the family and the doctors taking care of him. This family has been so faithful through it all and they always give God the glory and are trusting in God's timing and His perfect will.🙏🙏🙏 Update 9/24: The surgery was a success and he is doing well. He will have to have a bone marrow transplant in about 90 days. Please continue to pray for his recovery.

Please pray for a little girl named Selma Davis. She is five years old now. I have prayed for her since before she was born and have added her to the prayer requests many times. They found out before she was born that she had heart defects. She has undergone many surgeries in her five years of life and her heart is failing her now. I asked her mom what specifically we could pray for and this was her reply…. “Pray that she can come off of the IV’s and onto oral meds. Pray that her heart function is full restored “❤️ Update: Selma is still in the hospital and feeling some better. However staff do not hold much hope that her heart is improving. They have done another echo. Please pray for a miracle that she is better. Update 9/20: Selma is continuing meds, but not doing well and will be admitted to hospital on Monday to get meds IV and will be placed on the transplant list. Please continue to pray for her.

Please pray for my Aunt Beth for comfort and my cousins for peace and understanding. My aunt just found out she has lung cancer that has spread to her entire body. The doctors said there is nothing they can do for her but keep her comfortable.

Butch, our wonderful caretaker at the cabins, has just shared with Steve and I, his sister, Amy Woolfer has cancer. Her prognosis is not very encouraging. Please pray for Amy and Butch in this time.

Please pray for my Bonnie Flynn’s daughter Beth, and her twins sons, Joseph and Justin. The babies were born early and are in the hospital. One weighs 2 pounds and the other is slightly over 2 pounds. They are doing well right now, but have a long way to go. Thank you Update 10/5: The babies are growing and are around 5 pounds now. Please continue to pray for them that they will continue to do well and get home soon.

Please pray for Gary Ballard. He’s in the hospital now and has fluid buildup around his heart and a large spot is on his lungs.. Update:8/13: Gary is back at work, but still has a lot of health issues and is not out of woods yet. Also, We had Debbie Parsons on the list for cancer.. she is at home now and on hospice.. her 2 daughters Becki and Christy are having a very difficult time coping with the diagnosis…. Their dad Bob is especially in need of prayer.. he is very angry about the situation and not processing well at all… thank you

Please pray for my step brother, John Dillon. He has melanoma in the jaw. Please pray for healing and comfort for him. Thank you

Please pray for my Uncle Bobby; he has been diagnosed with aggressive bladder cancer and will start treatment on Monday.

Please pray for Pat Gifford. She is in the hospital in Cookeville with multiple health problems and may be there several days. Thank you Update 8/2: Pat is needing more advanced care and is being transferred to Nashville. Please keep her in prayer. Update 8/3: The doctor’s in Nashville reviewed her case and told her no need to come there. She is to follow up with her doctors. Thank you for your prayers. Please continue to pray for her healing.

Please lift Mitchell Boles up in prayer for healing. He is a 16 year old in our community who was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. Please also lift his family up in prayer for comfort and wisdom for decisions.

Please pray Herman Brady on the prayer list…. He is battling throat cancer and has had 14 chemo sessions out 35 and is really starting to experience the repercussions of his therapy…please lift him up to the Lord for comfort and healing and peace in his spirit.

I have an urgent prayer request this morning. Erik Johnson is in the middle of a stroke. They are out west on vacation. Please lift him up in prayer and if it is the Lords Will to stop and reverse this. Please lift his family up in prayer as this is a very difficult burden to bear on them as well. K Update 6/12: Erik has had another stroke and will have to stay in CA for rehab. Please continue to keep him and his family in prayer. Update 7/21: Erik is working through insurance issues and waiting for PT to work on regaining use of the left side of his body. He has been able to move his left pointer finger, thank the Lord. Please continue to pray for him. Update 7/24: Erik got approved for PT and is able to start now. He is still in CA until that can be done. Update 8/20: Erik has had another stroke and has damage to vision and more. It is weighing on him. Please pray for his healing. Update 10/15: Erik is at home now, but having difficulty finding coverage and care here. Please continue to remember him.

Please pray for healing for Evan Hayes. His cancer has returned. Please also lift his family up in prayer for comfort and wisdom in this time. Update 6/15: Evan had decided to return to hospital and try treatment again. He is now in remission! Answered prayers! He has more steps to take, so please continue to keep Evan and his family in prayer. Update 6/26: We understand that Evan is in ICU . Please continue to keep him and his family in prayer.

Please pray for a friend of ours. Her name is Joyce McClain. She has been diagnosed with CLL, a type of leukemia. Please pray for her healing and comfort in this time.

Please pray for Linda Neal. She is having a lot of health issues. Thank you Update 8/28: Linda is in the hospital now. Please pray for her healing. Upate 10/16: Linda is in rehab in the nursing home in Gainesboro. Please continue to pray for her recovery. She is having difficulty walking.

Please pray for Charlene Thompson, Jennifer Copass’s mother. She is on the way to the hospital by ambulance unresponsive. Please pray for her family, too. Update 1/24: Charlene is now in the hospital at Skyline. She had a stroke in the back of the brain and is on a ventilator, but they are trying to wean her off. She is not verbally unresponsive, but does wiggle her toes. Please keep her in prayer. Update 1/28: Charlene is improving, but still has deficits from the stroke. She is in a room and will be going to rehab for intensive therapy. Please keep her in prayer. Update 3/4: Charlene has been home a few days now, but has been affected by stroke. Please continue to lift her and family up in prayer.

Prayers for our current Church Building renovation. Praying for all those involved in planning and physical work. That God gives them safety, guidance and wisdom. All glory to God.

Please pray for healing for Kristin Robinson. She became ill suddenly and had emergency surgery. They found cancer which had spread all into colon and uterus, and she started bleeding so badly, surgery had to be stopped. She is 31 and has 3 children. Please pray for her family, too. Update 3/4/25: Kristin is doing treatments and is still very sick. Has lost a lot of weight. May have surgery for the tumor if it shrinks with treatments. Please continue to pray for this young family. Update 8/1/25: Kristin continues to be very sick. Please keep her in prayer.

Amanda is a 16 year old recently diagnosed with a rare type of leukemia… she’s receiving treatment in Atlanta… Update 7/21/2025: Amanda had been in remission, but her cancer recurred and she is once again taking treatments. Please lift her up in prayer. Update 10/21: Amanda’s Leukemia has returned. She has a tumor externally and internally in the brain. They haven’t biopsied it yet but are pretty sure it’s malignant. She will be hospitalized Friday for Chemo and another bone marrow transplant. If this doesn’t work they are out of options. Please pray for her and her family.
