Emma Walker is in Cookeville Regional Hospital with some medical issues concerning possibly a blockage in her liver.

I have an urgent prayer request this morning. Erik Johnson is in the middle of a stroke. They are out west on vacation. Please lift him up in prayer and if it is the Lords Will to stop and reverse this. Please lift his family up in prayer as this is a very difficult burden to bear on them as well. Update 6/9: He did have a stroke, but he is doing better and able to travel home. He will be following up with his physician when he gets here. Not sure about permanent damage. Update 6/12: Erik has had another stroke and will have to stay in CA for rehab. Please continue to keep him and his family in prayer.

A friend to our niece and her family has a son named, Doklan Creech, who is 18 years old. He has cystic fibrosis and was given 3 months to live. He needs a double lung and liver transplant. One hospital has said no and they are waiting to hear from another. Please lift Doklan and this family up in prayer for healing and comfort. UPDATE 6/11: Doklan lost his battle and passed away over night. Please lift this family and their friends up in prayer for comfort in this time of grief. My niece’s husband, Kenny, needs to have surgery soon, too. Please also lift him up for successful surgery and healing.

Please pray for the family of Linda Webb, who passed away last night after a long illness. Lift them up for comfort and peace in this time. Thank you

Lois Turner is having shoulder surgery on May 27. She did well with surgery, but will need rehab. Please lift her up in prayer for healing.

Please lift the family of Paul Haley up in prayer. Paul passed away this morning. He was a much loved member of our church who always cared and shared with those who are sick or shut in.

Please pray for Rin he fell last night and broke his arm!! He’ll be in a cast for 4 weeks!!

Please pray for my dad, Don Bayt. He is currently in VA hospital with a collapsed lung. Update 5/28: He is now home, but continues to have back pain and not sure ribs are healing well. Please continue to pray for him. Update 6/9: He is doing ok, but ribs are still not healing and are floating. He sees doctor on 6/11. Please continue to pray for him.

Please pray for brothers, Jamie Neal and Joe Smith. Jamie has fluid around his heart. Joe has had 4 heart attacks since December and is not doing well. Please pray for healing for them. Thank you

Please pray for Sue Reecer. She fell and has a spinal fracture. She is in the hospital and will be going through more testing. Thank you Update 5/28: Sue is in rehab now and improving. Can walk some, but is not yet moving enough to come home. Please continue to pray for her recovery.

Please pray for Kalina Short. She had a bad car accident and was taken to Vanderbilt and will be having surgery. Update: She is in therapy and continues to need prayer for healing.

Please lift Danny Anderson up in prayer for healing and comfort. His cancer is growing again in and around the liver. He will be having a biopsy in the next few days to help determine a treatment course. He has been having some tiredness and abdominal pain from time to time, too. Please also lift his wife, Shelia, and all of their family up in prayer for comfort as they go through these next steps. Update 5/10: The biopsy is scheduled for May 12. Please continue to lift this family up in your prayers. Update 5/22: The cancer is now Grade 3 and Danny will be starting chemotherapy in pill form. Please keep praying for him and family.

Please lift Gary Ballard up in prayer for healing. He has congestive heart failure and problem with defibrillator. He is in Cookeville Regional Hospital in the cardiac ward.

Please pray for my sister, Janie. She has been in the hospital and very sick. Thank you Update: Janie is still recovering and, while doing better, she still needs prayer as she continues to heal.

Please pray for Louise Norrod and Richard Norrod. They have had several bouts in the hospital and rehab. Both are doing better now, but prayers still needed as they improve.

Please pray for healing for Evan Hayes. His cancer has returned. Please also lift his family up in prayer for comfort and wisdom in this time.

Please lift Pastor Ben Chapman up in prayer. He is in the hospital and has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Pastor Chapman was our pastor here several years ago. Please also remember his family in this time as they support him.

Please pray for Chris Smith. He has been on a liver transplant list since Friday and they called today and told home they have a liver. He is on route to Vanderbilt. He has to be there at 5pm and surgery will be around 5:15 or so. Praise The Lord for the liver and prayers for the surgery. Chris is Donnie and Henrietta Smith’s son.

Please pray for a friend of ours. Her name is Joyce McClain. She has been diagnosed with CLL, a type of leukemia. Please pray for her healing and comfort in this time.

Please pray for Linda Neal. She is having a lot of health issues. Thank you

Please pray for Charlene Thompson, Jennifer Copass’s mother. She is on the way to the hospital by ambulance unresponsive. Please pray for her family, too. Update 1/24: Charlene is now in the hospital at Skyline. She had a stroke in the back of the brain and is on a ventilator, but they are trying to wean her off. She is not verbally unresponsive, but does wiggle her toes. Please keep her in prayer. Update 1/28: Charlene is improving, but still has deficits from the stroke. She is in a room and will be going to rehab for intensive therapy. Please keep her in prayer. Update 3/4: Charlene has been home a few days now, but has been affected by stroke. Please continue to lift her and family up in prayer.

Please pray for Jay Tinch who is the electrician that was supposed to do the work on my home. He is 38 years old married with 2 children. He has had several heart attacks and has been in and out of the hospital. Please pray that this young man overcome his illness and that God has a plan for him to remain on this earth.

Please pray for Grady Stewart. He is having heart problems with his cardiac stents. Mr. Stewart is my dad’s best friend. Thank you

Please pray for Robert Mathis, a co-worker of mine. He needs salvation and also help for some unspoken issues he is going through. Please pray that this time would be used by the Lord to draw him to God’s saving grace.

Please pray for Sara Nelson. She had emergency back surgery on Monday and is having serious complications including spinal fluid leakage and hearing loss. She is also still having serious headache and back pain still. Please also lift her family up in prayer. Thank you Update 9/30: Sara has taken a turn for the worse and is still having multiple complications. Please continue to pray for her and the family. Update 1/10/25: Sara is still very sick with some bad days and some better. She is a holding pattern waiting for a surgery date and has an infection. Update 3/4: Sara has had surgery and is slowly recovering. Still having a lot of pain. Please continue prayers. Update 6/10: Sara is much improved since her last surgery and is able to do some things she likes, like walking and light gardening.

Prayers for our current Church Building renovation. Praying for all those involved in planning and physical work. That God gives them safety, guidance and wisdom. All glory to God.

Please pray for my brother, Ryan McAtee. He had knee surgery a few weeks ago and has had some setbacks. He is also losing his disability and can’t go back to work yet. Please pray for salvation as well. Update 1/10/25: Ryan is doing better, but still has swelling. Please continue to pray for him. Update 3/4: Ryan continues to have complications from surgery and unsure of next steps. Please continue prayers. Update 3/18: Ryan has hurt his knee again and may have to have surgery again. Please pray for his healing and comfort, as well his relationship with God.

Todd Upton has been going back and forth to Tri Star hospital in Nashville. He has been doing chemotherapy and has had a bone marrow transplant. Please continue to pray for Todd to heal and for his family.

Please pray for healing for Kristin Robinson. She became ill suddenly and had emergency surgery. They found cancer which had spread all into colon and uterus, and she started bleeding so badly, surgery had to be stopped. She is 31 and has 3 children. Please pray for her family, too. Update 3/4/25: Kristin is doing treatments and is still very sick. Has lost a lot of weight. May have surgery for the tumor if it shrinks with treatments. Please continue to pray for this young family.

Please pray for healing for Angie Wyatt. She has stage 4 cancer. One doctor has told her would not make it through surgery and another says she will. She is going to have leg amputation. Please also pray for comfort, peace, and guidance on what to do with surgeries. Thank you. Update8/14: Angie is scheduled for surgery on 8/23 to remove a kidney. She has spots in several places and some difficulty with her prosthetic. Please continue to pray for her as she copes with several problems. Update 9/15: Angie had abdominal surgery again this morning on colon and then had to go back into to check on bleeding. Please pray for her.

Justin Sekinger is a 35 year old, just diagnosed with colon cancer which has spread to his liver and lungs.. is is married and has a 5 year old son… Amanda is a 16 year old recently diagnosed with a rare type of leukemia… she’s receiving treatment in Atlanta… Mrs. Mathis is also in her early 30’s and recently diagnosed with brain cancer.. cancer has been found in other parts of her body too.. she is married with two children… Update 7/9/24: Amanda has just been declared cancer free!
